The following are the work done. First, I have created a poster in Photoshop for Maycomb about civil rights movement. After I've done that, I interviewed my primary school friend from Malaysia about his point of views on prejudice and discrimination.
First of all, this is my poster :

As the poster was made for Maycomb, I felt it best that I raise an example that affected their lives. The first one (and the only one) I could think of was Tom Robinson. In the novel, Tom Robinson was acquitted because he was a black, and that case affected many people, because they were convinced Tom was innocent. Therefore, I used Tom Robinson's (as he appears in the movie) picture to convicne other people to vote for civil rights.
Second part. This is the part about the interview with a family or friend about their point of view on prejudice and discrimination. As aforementioned, I interviewed my friend. As the platform for interviewing was an online chat session, he used some shortforms. Anyway, below is the transcript.
Note: This transcript appears as is, I did not modify any part. Therefore, there are a lot of grammatical errors etcetera. I am in red and he is in blue. The words in green are the error-free version of his answers.
1) What do you know about prejudice and discrimination?
erm... im not sure bout prejudice... [I am not sure about prejudice]
discrimination is smth like [Discrimination is something like]

[ignoring someone that's different from you?]something like racist
skin colour
or similar
yeah racist
2) What do you feel about prejudice and discrimination?
terrible. should be not ''available'' in humans
anything else?
erm... humans should start appreaciating ppl around them [Humans should start appreciating people around them.]
no matter different races or skin colour etc. [Regardless of race or skin colour etcetera.]
3)What do you think about people who show prejudice and/or discrimination?
they lack of education. and they probably dont socialize alot. [They lack education and they probably don't socialise a lot.]
4) Will you do anything towards people who show prejudice and/or discrimination?
either ignore them. or trying to cousell them if they r close to me [Ignore them or try to counsel them if they are close to me.]
5) How far will you go to stop prejudice and/or discrimination?
as far as i can
examples of what you can do?
not being one for myself. [Not being one of them myself.]
and educate the future generations to know that every human r created equally [so they know that every human is created equally.]
So in this short interview, we have seen my friend's point of view on prejudice and discrimination. I think that his opinion is true and is morally correct. Besides that, his parents are a very good example of not showing racism. My friend actually has an Indian father and a Chinese mother and they go along very well. Therefore, there is no reason why someone should show discrimination towards others just because of difference in skin colour.
After doing the two pieces of work, I have learnt more about civil rights, prejudice and discrimination and I would like to stop prejudice and discrimination if possible.
