Birmingham Grid for Learning-Multiple Intelligences 0 comments

Hi everyone. Today is the second day of IT home learning. I enjoy this kind of lessons as they provide a new way of learning and can make learning more interesting more students, especially IT-savvy students as we come into contact with internet often during the lessons.
Today we had LA lesson and we were told to take the Multiple Intelligence test. You can get it from this website : http://www.bgfl.org/bgfl/custom/resources_ftp/client_ftp/ks3/ict/multiple_int/questions/choose_lang.cfm. Now let us move on to other parts of the test. Based on my understanding, multiple intelligence is the ability to understand something around us. Do correct me if I am wrong. Anyway,I have attached the following picture. This shows a chart of my multiple intelligences score.

Based on the test, my best intelligence is musical and interpersonal followed closely by kinaesthetic. This is accurate to some extent because I like to play different kind of sports. I am also outspoken and like to make new friends and join in group activities. However, I do not understand how I got such a high score for music, I really do not have any talent in music, I lack even the most basic one. Maybe I got such a score because of my blog name. Haha...

My logical is the lowest followed by intrapersonal. My maths is very weak, I agree. I think that I do not know myself very well. Normally, when people ask you to describe yourself in a word or phrase, I find myself thinking and pondering what to say. Of course I could just pick any word that describes a small part of me, but then that would not give an accurate impression to other people, and of course to myself.

Overall, I think the test has been somewhat accurate and I think that this kind of tests do help participants understand themselves a bit more. When you know more about yourself, I believe it will be easier to improve upon yourself, strengthen your weaknesses, remove your bad habits etcetera. Anyway, I recommend you all to take this test also, and you can comment on what you got for your score. Thanks
